College Drive construction

The College Drive Construction Project has begun. Work ahead includes grading, curb and gutter, paving, storm sewer, sidewalk construction, trail construction, signal upgrades, roundabout construction, retaining walls and landscaping. Utilities work continues to relocate gas lines, fiber optics and other cabling near the Brainerd campus. Starting April 9 construction equipment may be positioned on the traffic corridor, so please use caution as you travel College Drive. Work is to progress westward from near Brainerd High School to Highland Scenic Dr. (CR48). Please be aware of possible interruption in services as utility upgrades are established ahead of roadwork from sunrise to sunset. College Drive is tentatively scheduled for closure June 4 through Aug. 24 with access to CLC by Mississippi Parkway from east and west intersections with College Drive. The anticipated completion date for construction work is Oct. 25. We will provide updates as construction proceeds via email and at our website www.clcmn.edu
